2010 Multi-County Youth Guidance Benefit Dinner/ Comedy Night
Attendance at this year’s event was the highest yet—right around 100! Crossroads was an awesome venue! Marty Cyrus and her team catered a delicious meal! And Steve Feazel provided the entertainment with his comedy and laughs! What an evening! All Glory to God!
Many thanks go to all who attended. Your support and generosity, especially with the purchase of the silent auction items, raised significant revenue to help fund the outreach to probationary teens in Fairfield, Licking, Hocking, Perry and Pickaway Counties.
This year a major mark was reached with the ministry—over 1,000 different teens have met individually with me or another volunteer during their stay in detention during these six plus years. Thru your support of the event, you have provided the privilege and honor to listen to them, love them and share the message of our Savior with them.
Just recently, I met with four of these teens in a morning set of appointments. They were dealing with the following issues: serious drug abuse and addiction, conflicts with parents, overcoming the suicide of a parent, running away from home and facing a significant time in a rehabilitation facility. These teens are hurting, confused and in need of hope. The support at this year’s event makes bringing hope to them possible.
